Intl' Conference On Holding 6th Population Census From July 25

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july,2016) : The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) is arranging a two-day International Conference on holding 6th housing and population census here on July 25-26. The conference would be held in collaboration with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on the issues pertaining to holding of 6th Population and Housing Census in the country.
The speakers of the conference would discuss security of census field staff and filled-in documents, legal requirements for usage of census data by various components and credibility of census data in presence of politically and ethnically charged environment. The participants would also discuss issues relating to holding of census in the presence of Afghan and aliens living in the country, conduct of census in phases.
