International Conference Opens At FJWU

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2017 ) A three-day international conference on "Building Bridges in Initial Teachers Education" was inaugurated at Fatima Jinnah Women University FJWU here Friday, aimed at examining the role of schools and universities for development and capacity building of initial teachers for connection between curriculum and assessment; theory and practice.
Chief guest Dr Arshad Ali Director Higher education Commission in his address appreciated the efforts made by the University. He emphasized the importance of teachers training and its effects on development and progress of the nation. Vice chancellor Dr. Prof Samina Amin Qadir said FJWU has always endeavored to promote healthy debate on pertinent issues which are need of the hour.
