The ECP in its today's hearing expressed its displeasure over not submitting reply to the commission on the matter by the Ministry and ordered to get reply from Secretary Interior within 15 days.
The ECP said that Milli Muslim League was not registered with the commission and that it has no legal status and the commission didn't allot election symbol to this party. It said that the commission had written a letter to Interior Ministry on August 24, 2017, in which an explanation was sought from the ministry on the matter including legal status of such party, however the ministry has yet to submit its reply, it added.
