Inquiry Ordered In Rahimyar Khan Death Case:Official

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :The officials concerned have directed to conduct an inquiry into a case pertaining to death of a new born baby girl as the parents had levelled allegations that the girl died soon after she was vaccinated by team of anti-polio drive.

Official sources said here on Wednesday that senior officials of Health Department have constituted a committee to conduct an inquiry regarding allegations levelled by the family of the deceased new born baby girl who died after the team of anti-polio campaign administered her anti-polio drops.

Parents of a new born baby submitted their allegations that sub-standard or expired vaccine was administered to their baby girl which resulted in her death,they said. Deputy District Health Officer, Dr. Athar Farid has been assigned task to head the investigation committee and conduct inquiry. The committee will furnish its report to the senior officials.
