Indian Troops Martyr Woman In Occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, July 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Jul, 2017 ) : Indian troops martyred a woman during a violent crackdown operation in Islamabad district of Indian occupied Kashmir on Saturday.

According to KMS report that martyred woman was identified as Tahira Begum in Dialgam area of the district after the troops fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells on the demonstrators who were protesting against the operation.

Eyewitness told that Tahira Begum was hit by a bullet. They said that she was immediately shifted to District Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Several people have also been critically injured in the troops' action while protests in the area are going on.

Meanwhile, the puppet authorities have snapped the mobile internet services in the district and imposed curfew-like- restrictions in Dialgam. The authorities have also announced closure of educational institutions in the district to prevent students from staging demonstrations against the killing of the woman.
