IHC Adjourns Case Challenging Saeed's Appointment Till Oct 13

:The Islamabad High Court (IHC) adjourned plea challenging appointment of NBP's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Saeed Ahmed till October 13

Islamabad, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Oct, 2017 ) :The Islamabad High Court (IHC) adjourned plea challenging appointment of NBP's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Saeed Ahmed till October 13.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurenzeb adjourned the plea when Naeem Bukhari counsel for the NBP's CEO submitted his power of attorney and sought time for preparation of the case.

Meanwhile representatives of the Secretary Finance and Secretary Establishment Division also submitted their reply before court in compliance with earlier court orders.

Rao Tofeeq and Malik Qamir Abbas of Officers Association filed the identical petitions before the IHC through their counsels, GM Chuadhry and Ali Nawaz Khokhar. Ali Nawaz counsel for the petitioner requested the court to set aside the notification for the appointment of Saeed Ahmed as the National Bank CEO.
