IESCO Issues Power Suspension Programme

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Wednesday issued a power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Sept 13 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2017 ) : Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday for various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to IESCO Spokesman, the power supply of different feeders and grid stations would remain suspended for the period 09:00 am to 14:00 pm Sowan Garden-I, Gowan Garden-II, CBR feeders, 10:00 am to 14:00 pm KRL, Muslim Town, Jinnah Camp, Shakrial feeders, 09:30 am to 15:30 pm Samote, islam Pura feeders, 09:00 am to 14:00 pm Khanna-II feeder, 09:00 am to 13:00 pm Scheme-I, Khanna East, Barma, Gulistan Colony feeders and surrounding areas will be affected.
Moreover in continuation of system up-gradation plane, IESCO is replacing 160 MVA transformers with 250 MVA and in this connection shut down has been approved for 220KV NTDC Burhan Grid from 16:00 to 18:00 HRS and 500KV NTDC gird New Rawat from 10:00 to 18:00 HRS. APP/raz/ahn
