HR Minister Asked Int. Organizations To Play Role For Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july,2016) : Federal Minister for Human Rights Kamran Micheal on Wednesday asked international organizations to come forward in support of just demand of Kashmiris who are raising their voice for right of self determination. Addressing a media briefing, he said Pakistan strongly condemn atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir and the recent brutal killing of innocent unarmed citizens. He said they issued letters to all organizations working on human rights including those based in India to play their role against the violations of Kashmiris people. They minister informed that Pakistan's stance on Kashmir is quite clear and they extended their complete support to Kashmiri people. "Freedom is basic right of every human being and Indian forces cannot deprive Kashmiris from it", he stated. Secretary Ministry of Human Rights, Nadeem Ashraf sharing recent figures of Indian cruelty said, in last five-six days, 44 people were inhumanly killed while so far 93,000 people were murdered, and more than 10,000 women sexually assaulted in the Indian occupied valley. He urged the United Nation organizations to pay attention towards the issue and take immediate steps to stop such heinous crimes. "They demand is just to hold free and fair plebiscite to choose their right of affiliation", he stated adding, the Kashmiri people only wanted implementation of UN resolution passed in 1948 to decide their fate.
He said the selective attitude of international organization is not justified and they should also take strong and clear stance on the issue of Kashmir. Nadeem Ashraf said they fully support and extend strong solidarity with Kashmiri people on their just cause. A Kashmiri journalist, Abdul Hamid Lone, expressed his gratitude to the government of Pakistan for its support.
He said United Nation organizations are adopting double standard on different issues like Egypt and Kashmir. "Why they are silent on Indian brutalities on innocent Kashmiris", he said adding, if United Nation Organization (UNO) will play its role on Kashmir issue its future will be like League of Nations. Black law is being observed in Kashmir and international community has not taken any action yet which is question mark on their claims of justice for all, he remarked. Replying a question he informed that India openly declare Kashmir as its integral part without consent of native people who even bury their dead bodies wrapped in green flag. He stated that no electronic and print media is coverage is allowed in Indian Occupied Kashmir now a days but no one is paying attention that why India is hiding fact from international community.
