Hot, Dry Weather Expected In Most Parts Of Country

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -7th Sept,2016) : Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours. Continental air would prevail in most parts of the country , an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa :Dir, Risalpur 15mm, Malamjabba, Balakot 03mm, Abbotabad 02mm.
Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 03mm, Garidupatta 01mm. Gilgit-Baltistan: Chillas, Gilgit 02mm and Bunji 01mm. Maximum temperatures recorded on Wednesday remained Nokkundi 42 C, Sh. Benazirabad, Sukkur, Dadu 40 C, Lahore, Faisalabad 37 C, Peshawar, Quetta 36 C, Multan, Hyderabad 35 C, Chitral, Islamabad 34 C, Karachi 33 C, Kalat 31 C, Dir, Muzaffarabad 30 C, Hunza 29 C, Gilgit 27 C, Skardu 26 C and Murree 22 C.
