ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2016 ) : High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President Federica Mogherini Tuesday condemned terrorist attack on Police Training Centre in Quetta.
In a statement, she said, the people of Pakistan were once again in our thoughts following last night's deadly attack on a police training centre in Quetta, which has killed at least 60 people and injured many more.
This attack underlines the continuing threat posed by terrorism and the need for strong international cooperation in the fight against it, in Pakistan, the wider region and beyond, she added.
As the European Union, she said, "we will continue to work closely together with Pakistan to fight the global threat of terrorism.
When I met earlier this month with Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz, I reiterated this commitment; a commitment which remains steadfast today." She expressed her condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
