HESCO BoD Calls For Improving Performance

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Dec, 2017 ) :The Board of Directors of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) met at the company's office here on Wednesday and underscored the need of improving performance.
Chairing the meeting, the board's Chairman and Vice Chancellor of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Dr Muhamamad Aslam Uqaili said the incumbent HESCO's chief executive Reham Ali Otho was discharging responsibilities professionally."But there is a need of further improving the performance and expediting action against the electricity thieves," Uqaili said.He said the line losses should be reduced and the system of electric supply should be improved.
Uqaili also asked the company to carry out promotion of the employees and resolve their issues which would help HESCO improve its performance.Otho informed the meeting that the electric supply system was being upgraded to address complaints of the consumers.He said the action against the power theft was being conducted at full pelt in all the 13 districts of HESCO region and added that the action had helped decrease the line losses significantly.The BOD members Mehfood Ahmed Bhatti, Tassaduq Hussain, Commissioner Hyderabad Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo, Commissioner Mirpurkhas Shafique Ahmed Mahesar, Waqas Anwar and Mehmood Nawaz Shah, among others, attended the meeting.
