Govt's Policies Start Yielding Results: Parliamentary Secretary GB

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :Member Legislative Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary Health Barkat Jamil Khan said Monday that government was effectively going ahead with its plan for the socio-economic uplift of people of Gilgit Baltistan.
Talking to APP, the MLA said as part of such efforts, as many 80 development developments were in progress in various parts of the district Astore and would be completed within scheduled timeframe.
He said Federal government was also very actively extending cooperation in eradicating problems such as loadshedding, poverty and unemployment in the area. He said that Giligit Baltistan government was according top priority to health and education sector as the both played crucial role in development process and utilizing more funds for their uplift.
He said that doctors and teachers were regularly performing their duties in health units and educational institutions as a result of effective monitoring mechanism put in place by the government.
He said that vibrant policies had also been framed for uplift of the tourism sector which was endowed with natural beauty to attract more tourists and contribute to the exchequer. He said a plan was also being worked out to extend attractive packages and incentives to the tourists which would help general more revenue for the uplift of the region.
