Governor, British Minister Discuss Trade Opportunities In Sindh

KARACHI, Sept 20 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2017 ) : Sindh Governor Mohammed Zubair and British Minister of State for Trade and Investment Greg Hands discussed mutual trade opportunities at Governor House here on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued here, the UK Minister of state was accompanied by British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew. They, on the occasion, discussed Pak-Britain mutual trade, opportunities of investment in Sindh, role of Pakistan against terrorism and issues of mutual interests.
The Governor said that Karachi is a trade and economic hub of the country. He said that after the restoration of law and order in the city, there are many opportunities for investors and British investors should also take advantage of it.
Zubair said that further improvement in trade relations between the two countries is the need of the hour. He said that Pakistan has rendered great sacrifices in the war against terrorism which should be appreciated at international level.
He further said that economy at every sector of the country has improved during the period of current government. The Governor also praised role of British companies in economic development of the country.
Greg Hands said that the measures for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan are praiseworthy. Pakistan has a big market and no international company can ignore it, he added.
