Gilgit Baltistan Chief Justice Inaugurates Construction Work Of Chief Court Office

Speedy and inexpensive justice would be provided to the people of Gilgit Baltistan at their doorstep as steps were being taken by the judiciary to that effect, Chief Justice of Chief Court Wazir Shakeel Ahmad said while inaugurating the construction work of Chief Court Office Registry here Friday.
SKARDU, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2018 ) :Speedy and inexpensive justice would be provided to the people of Gilgit Baltistan at their doorstep as steps were being taken by the judiciary to that effect, Chief Justice of Chief Court Wazir Shakeel Ahmad said while inaugurating the construction work of Chief Court Office Registry here Friday.
He said all facilities would be provided for judges and lawyers at the new building of the registry. Judicial buildings and residential accommodation for the judges and staff were also being constructed in other districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, he added.
On the occasion, he asked the Building and Road Department PWD to complete the construction work within the stipulated period. Chief Engineer PWD Tajwar Khan briefed the Chief Justice GB Chief Court on the occasion and assured him that work will be completed during June next year at a cost of Rs 80 million.
The inaugural function was attended by the judges and lawyers of Skardu, elite of the town and the Divisional and District Administration officials of Skardu.
