GCWU, SSC Sign Agreementon 'Islamic Knowledege And Research'

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd September, 2016) : Government College for Women University (GCWU), Sialkot, and Seerat Study Centre (SSC) on Friday signed a five-year agreement on "Islamic Knowledge and Research" in order to promote Islamic knowledge among students, a press release said.
SSC Chairman, DCO Dr Asif Tufail and GCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Farhat Saleemi signed the MoU.
Addressing the gathering, the DCO said that the agreement aimed at promoting religious knowledge among students of varsity.
He said that both organisation would mutually start research on Islamic History, Islamic Banking and other issues. Dr Farhat Saleemi said that women should be empowered for social and economic development of society. She said that education was necessary for women to make progress.
