Four Regional Training Institutes Being Set Up: Jakhrani

NAWABSHAH, Feb. 28 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) : Sindh Minister for Population Welfare Mumtaz Ali Jakhrani has said that four Regional Training Institutes were being set up at Nawabshah, Jacobabad, Umerkot and Mithi to meet the training requirements of staff of population welfare department.
He, while addressing officials of department of Population Welfare Shaheed Benazirabad Division here on Tuesday, said that in order to meet the shortage of doctors and staff in the department, program was underway to employee contractual staff at local level.
Terming the issue of population multiplication as disastrous as atom bomb he said that approximately 3000 children born daily in Sindh while over 7000 daily land here from other provinces of the country.
The minister said that agreement would be signed with PPHI in order to prevent multiplication of population.
He said that increase in population is putting adverse affects on health, employments and economic conditions of common man.
Later talking to media minister said that Karachi Circular Railway has been added to CPEC with the personal efforts of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. He said that Karachi was economic hub of country and could not be ignored.
Replying to a question he said that male mobilizers of the department were getting lower salaries and proposal for enhancement of their salaries was under consideration. Speaking on population Census, he said that it was the issue of death and life for the Sindh province as provinces get resources on the basis of census results.
Earlier officials of Population Welfare Department Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar and Naushehro Feroze districts presented their performance along with problems those are required to be resolved.
