Eid holidays of the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) operational wings have been cancelled to provide pure food to people in the province
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2017 ) : Eid holidays of the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) operational wings have been cancelled to provide pure food to people in the province. This was stated by PFA Additional Director General Operations Rafia Hyder while talking to mediamen here on Wednesday.
She said that in view to keep vigilance on the edible items during Eid days, the public holidays of Eid-ul-Azha of PFA operational wings' employees have been cancelled and they were called to join duty as per their routine schedule.
Meanwhile, during different raids at chicken meat shops, the personnel of the PFA charged fine over Rs 61,000 for unhygienic condition. The personnel of the authority also issued warning to 69 shopkeepers to keep shops clean.
