Efforts Going On To Provide Best Medical Care To People: Commissioner

SARGODHA (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2017 ) : Commissioner Sargodha Nadeem Mehboob Saturday said that allout efforts were being made to provide best health facilities to people in division.

Talking to APP, he said " We have formed sepecial medical teams to provide health facalities in remote areas on priority basis". Commissioner said that intensive surveillance was needed for effective control of water borne diseases like dengue.

All departments concerned were taking effective measures to control dengue as well as malaria in the division, he added. Nadeem Mehboob said that high risk areas in the division were being monitored strictly and surveillance teams were collecting samples from these areas adding no case of dengue had been reported from the division.

He said that water treatment planta were also being installed in the division to provide the people best drinking water. The water treatment plants were also being installed in rural areas on prioirty, the commissioner added. Meanwhile, it is worth mentining here that contaminated water is causing spread of diseases like diarrhea, hepatitis and polio in distric.
