District Election Commission Organizes Awareness Rally

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2017 ) : The District Election Commission Office Mirpurkhas on Thursday organized a rally to promote awareness regarding importance of vote. The rally was taken out from Citizen Gymkhana Club to Mirpurkhas Press Club, said a statement.

The rally was led by District Election Commissioner Amir Ashfaq Qureshi.

Addressing the rally District Election Commissioner Amir Ashfaq Qureshi, members of District Voters education Committee Shehzado Malik, Muhammad Bux, Assistant Director Social Welfare Junaid Mirza, Deputy Director Information Ghulam Raza Khoso and others urged the participants to cast their votes in elections.

They said that vote is the very first step for strengthening the democracy. The speakers urged the youth above or 18 years of age to get themselves enrolled in the voter lists. The rally was largely participated by citizens belonging to different walks of life.
