District Council Approves 6-month Budget

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) : District Council Attock Tuesday approved six-month budget Rs 2.26 billion during a budget session presided over by Vice Chairman Sardar Muhammad Arif Khan.

Chairperson Eman Tahir presenting the budget said expected expenditure was Rs 93.2 million while an amount of Rs 1.3 million had been allocated to every union council. She said Rs 7.2 million had been reserved for special seats, Rs 120.

72 million for development, and Rs 79 million for non-development expenditure.

She said the district council would impose taxes under different heads for which committees were being set up. She said oil and gas companies working in Attock district would be asked to allocate 3 to 5 percent of their income for the development of Attock district while royalty of Ghazi Barotha project would also be demanded.

All members assured the chairperson of their full co-operation.
