District Admin starts crackdown against profiteers, hoarders

The district administration here Thursday started crackdown against profiteers, butchers and hoarders for selling substandard goods on high prices

ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) : The district administration here Thursday started crackdown against profiteers, butchers and hoarders for selling substandard goods on high prices.

Magistrate Mehboob Ali, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Astore, Rehman Shah conducted surprise raids in different markets, bazars and arrested several butchers for selling meat on high prices.

The shopkeepers were also warned to sell products as per the Government's prescribed rate, otherwise, strong action would be taken against violators.
