LAHORE, Sept 19 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2017 ) : DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf on Tuesday said police would utilize all available resources to ensure foolproof security during Muharram-ul-Haram.

Addressing a meeting of SPs to review security arrangements here, he directed all divisional SPs to coordinate with the respective members of the Peace Committee Committee in every moment to maintain law and order.

He directed the officials to ensure use of online software in all hotels, monitor all tenants completely, install cameras, walk-through gates and metal detectors, and deploy additional policemen on sensitive places.

Search operations should also be conducted on daily basis, he said and directed the officials to visit the routes along with members of district government in their areas to review security arrangements.

The DIG Operations also directed to coordinate with Safe City Authority and conduct flag march in order to protect people. All Divisional SPs including SSP Operations Athar Ismail, SP Security Lahore Ibadat Nisar, SP Headquarters Atif Nazir, Anti-riot SP Muhammad Naveed attended the meeting.
