DG Rangers, IGP Call On Governor Sindh

KARACHI, Sept 20 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2017 ) : The Director General of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj. Gen. Muhammad Saeed and Inspector General of Police Sindh A.D. Khawaja, on Wednesday called on Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair.
Matters pertaining to the Karachi operation, law and order situation, security arrangements for Muharram were discussed at the meeting held at the Governor House here. It was resolved that on-going intelligence-based operation would be taken to its logical conclusion for eradication of crimes from the province especially from the metropolis.
The sacrifices offered by the personnel of Army, Rangers, Police for the maintenance of peace, would not be allowed to go in vain.
At the meeting it was pointed out that Karachi was the economic hub of the country.
Effective snap checking at the entry and exit points of the city and by setting up of check posts so as to curb crimes. Governor said that the people appreciate and value the sacrifices rendered by personnel of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) for the cause of peace in Karachi.
At the meeting DG Rangers and IGP briefed the Governor in detail about the on-going operation and security arrangements for Muharram. They further stated that with the help of surveillance cameras, the security arrangements would be made foolproof. APP/rak/msk/mdi � 20:13/20:41/20:41
