Dengue Awareness Campaign On 23rd

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016) : An anti-dengue day will be observed here on Saturday (July 23) for creating awareness among the masses about the virus. Executive District Officer (EDO) Health Dr Nusrat Riaz said the dengue awareness campaign had been started as per directions of the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and campaigns would be launched in each district to guide people about the dengue virus.
An anti-dengue walk and a seminar would be organized while similar activities will also be held in all tehsils, he added. The EDO told APP that 501 surveillance teams of the health department were performing their duties adding no case of dengue was reported during the current year.
