Democratic Government Has Right To Complete Its Constitutional Tenure: Pervaiz Rashid

Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Pervaiz Rashid Thursday said every democratic government has right to complete its constitutional tenure and democratic system was the only solution of all problems of the country.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) :Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Pervaiz Rashid Thursday said every democratic government has right to complete its constitutional tenure and democratic system was the only solution of all problems of the country.

Talking to a private news channel. he said the PML-N was ready for elections and it would win next general elections due to its five years performance. He said political parties always formulated their policies as per aspirations of the people.

The senator said the PML-N leadership had never adopted any confrontation policy against any national institution, adding that Nawaz Sharif had always respected the judiciary and implemented its decisions but showing reservations on the decisions of courts was his constitutional right.

He said the PML-N in favour of accountability but it should be across the board and without any discrimination.Nawaz Sharif was regularly appeared before the courts and it was the prov of the fact that he respects the judiciary, he added.

Pervaiz Rashid said Nawaz Sharif name was not mentioned in the Panama papers and not a single corruption case was proof against him but he was disqualified on having an Iqama.

Replying to a question, he said there was no difference between the party and Shehbaz Sharif's thoughts and Nawaz Sharif was the leader of Shehbaz Sharif.

He said some people were not liked a popular political leadership in the country and efforts were being utilize to make defame the PML-N among the masses before the general elections. Nawaz Sharif had adopted a narrative after July 28 and people were supporting his narrative contineusly and results of by elections were the poof of the fact.

To another query, he said Maryam Nawaz never interested in any party position and she was struggling for the party and she had not accepted the doctrine of Chaudhry Nisar. The parliamentary board of the Party would decide the matter regarding Chaudhry Nisar, he added.

He said deprivation of the provinces had removed after passing the 18th amendment in the constitution. He said some unidentified people had played role during the senate elections and desire of a hung parliament was always prevailed in the country.
