Corps Investiture Ceremony Held At GHQ Rawalpindi

Corps investiture ceremony was held at GHQ Auditorium on Thursday where Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza was the chief guest.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2018 ) :Corps investiture ceremony was held at GHQ Auditorium on Thursday where Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza was the chief guest.
Awards of Tamgha-i-Basalat, Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) were conferred on Army officers and soldiers for act of gallantry during various operations, said a statement issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Three officers and 21 soldiers including 16 Shuhda were awarded Tamgha-i-Basalat. Next to kin's of Shuhda received their awards.Seventy Six officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and 110 officers were awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
The corps commander paid rich tributes to Shuhda for their utmost sacrifices during various operations and applauded the meritorious services of award winners. A large number of senior Army officers and families of awardees attended the ceremony.
