Contest Seeks Cancer Reporting

The Cancer World Journalism Award seeks outstanding pieces of journalism that are changing the way people think about cancer.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2018 ) :The Cancer World Journalism Award seeks outstanding pieces of journalism that are changing the way people think about cancer. Print, online and broadcast journalists can apply for an award.
The contest has four categories: patient and carer experience; research, science and treatment; policy, services and affordability; and prevention. Works must have been published or broadcast between October 2016 and April 2018.
Non-English entries must include an English translation. Winners will receive EUR1,500 (US$1,835) in each category. The overall winner will attend the 2018 ECCO Summit in Vienna, Austria.The deadline is May 1, said a press release on Tuesday.
