CM Directs To Ensure Smooth Flow Of Traffic During Matches

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2017 ) : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said spectators have enjoyed wonderful play of cricket during the first T-20 match between the World XI and Pakistan XI.
According to a handout issued here on Wednesday, he said that people in the country had fully enjoyed the marvellous play of cricket. He said the best arrangements had been made for rest of the matches as well by the Punjab government and added that concerned departments had already been issued necessary instructions that best of the best arrangements should be ensured inside as well as outside of the stadium so that cricket-lovers could fully enjoy cricket.
The chief minister took strict notice of traffic situation on some of the roads in the provincial metropolis and issued directions to the provincial administration and traffic officials from London.
He said all necessary arrangements should be made to keep smooth flow of traffic during the matches between the World XI and Pakistan XI. Similarly, alternate routes should be given so that people may not face any difficulty.
An effective traffic plan should be implemented in letter and spirit and the relevant officials should remain in the field to ensure the flow of traffic. The chief minister said he would not listen to any excuse regarding traffic jam and if any complaint was raised about traffic jam, then action would be taken against the concerned staff.
