Clash At TMA Hall: Three FIRs Registered

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2017 ) : Police on Wednesday registered three FIRs of a clash incident occurred in TMA Hall between councilors and their outside supporters. The incident took place on Tuesday, when councilors and their outside supporters turned Tehsil Municipal Administration's (TMA) session into a battlefield in Khanewal.
On application of councilor Sh. Muhammad Ali, FIR No. 267/17 under section 337, 379, 148, 149 TP was registered against Rao Sarfraz Ahmad, Rao Shah Nawaz s/o Rao Abdul Ghaffar and other one dozen unidentified people.
Another FIR was registered on application of Sh. Muhammad Yaqoob Anjum, under section 337, 379, 148, 149 TP against rival councilors Sh.
Fateh Ali, Sher Muhammad, outsiders Aslam, Baber and Bilal.
Similarly, another cross version FIR on application of Rana Khalil Ahmad (councilor) has also been registered against Sh. Fateh Ali, Sher Muhammad, Irshad, Baber, Bilal, Aslam, Sh. Nasir Ali, Shamsher, and 50 other unidentified persons.
Masood Majeed Khan, Chairman Municipal Committee Khanewal termed this incident as reaction of encroachment mafia and their supporters in the TMA session.
