KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) : The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court has imposeed major penalty of "dismissal from service" prescribed in clause (g) sub Rule (2) of Rule 13 of the Sindh High Court Establishment (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006 upon Mr.

Atir Mehmood, Officer (BPS-19) and Mr. Humayun Zeb, Secretary Protocol-II of this Court. The Chief Justice, earlier had ordered to initiate fact finding inquiry against M/s. Atir Mehmood and Humayun Zeb, the then In-charge Project Directors (AJP) of this Court in the matter of awarding contract for procurement of furniture for the 58 newly created courts.

According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, the Enquiry Officer after conducting enquiry concluded that the charges leveled against the delinquent Officers stand fully proved and recommended the major penalty of dismissal from service as prescribed in clause (g) sub rule (2) of rule 13 of the Sindh High Court Establishment (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006, on the grounds of "corruption & misconduct" was served upon Mr.

Atir Mehmood, Officer (BPS-19) and Mr. Humayun Zeb, Secretary Protocol-II of this Court. APP/rap/msk/rn
