Chairman Of Mirpurkhas Presents Budget Of Rs 200339000 For Four Months

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) : The chairman of District Council Mirpurkhas Mir Anwar Talpur presented the budget of Rs 200339000 for four months at Ghulam Nabi Shah Hall on Tuesday.

During the budget meeting, the budget for new expenditures have been allocated Rs 10 lcas, for the financial assistance of families of employees who loss their lives during duty Rs 10 lacs. Rs 1 lac for mango festival, Rs 50000 for flower show, Rs 50000 for health and education.

Allocation for education at Madaris Rs 50000, for poor people Rs 2 lacs, Public school Rs10 lacs, sports Rs5 lacs, disabled persons Rs 2 lacs, scholarships for students Rs 5 lacs, natural disasters Rs 30 lacs, honourary for chairman, vice chairman and members 20 lacs, medical Rs 5 lacs and for development programs Rs 6 crores have been earmarked.

On the occasion, the council member Chaudhry Naseer said that the condition of Mirpurkhas city is worse, therefore, a letter should be written to the provincial government for further development funds.

Kanji Rano Bheel suggested that rent of council�s shops and mobile tower tax be increased. He also suggested to allocate funds for non-muslim students. He lamented NADRA for delaying in issuing CNICs to poor people.

Shamim Jhandir, Ali Nawaz Mari and Mumtaz Jarwar said that civil hospital administration is not working properly and action be taken against it. They demanded to reopen closed schools in the district. Other members asked to form committees to resolve issues of the common man.
