Chairman DMC Korangi Inspects Progress On 100-day Development Program

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2017 ) : The 100-day development program under District Muncipal corporation (DMC), Korangi is going on smoothly. Under the programme, development work was swiftly carried out including model streets, family parks, playing grounds and green belts, said a press release issued on Friday.
The chairman DMC Syed Nayyer Raza while talking to the citizens said that to provide basic facilities to the area residents, schools, hospitals and first aid centers under DMC Korangi will be made functional.
He further said that the shortage of staff in schools, hospitals and first aid centers were creating hurdles in activation of the facilitation centers. Later, the chairman DMC Korangi inspected the sanitation work in the Korangi zone and instructed the sanitation officers to ensure shifting of the garbage on the daily basis.
He said that all out efforts will be made at departmental level to ensure addressing the civic problmes of the people.
