By-election On NA-258 To Be Held On Nov 22

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Oct, 2016 ) : Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday announced by-election on vacant seat of NA-258 Karachi scheduled to be held on November 22.

According to schedule issued here, the aspiring candidates could file their nomination papers from October 17 to 18. The scrutiny of nomination papers would be conducted from October 20 and 21.

Appeal against the decision of Returning Officer about rejecting or accepting nomination papers could be filed by October 26, which would be decided by tribunal by October 29. The candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by November 1.

The revised list of candidates would be issued on November 2. Polling would be held on November 22. The seat was fallen vacant owing to the resignation of former MNA Abdul Hakeem Baloch.
