BoD Constituted Under TEVTA Act

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2017 ) : The provincial government Tuesday constituted the board of Directors under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Technical education and Vocation Training Authority (TEVTA) Act, with immediate effect.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be its Chairman, while Secretaries for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education, Finance, Planning and Development and Labour Departments or their nominees, not below the ranks of Additional Secretaries, Vice Chancellor, Shuhad-e-Army Public school, University of Technology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nowshera, Chairperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women, President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar, three representatives of Large Scale Industries, Engineer Muhammad Anwar Khan, Resident Director Cherat Packaging Industrial Estate, Gadoon, Mr.
Khyber Khan, Chief Executive, Shazal's Pharmaceutical, Industrial Estate, Hattar and Sikandar Kuli Khan, Kohat Textile Mills, Kohat, two representative of Small Scale Industries, Bilal Afzal Khan, Serdheri CNG, Charsadda and Haji Muhammad Javed, Managing Director, Ashraf Industries (Pvt) Ltd, Shamsher Khan, Hashtnagar Construction Company Charsadda, representative of all Pakistan Contractors Association and Engineer Nadir Khan, Principal Kurram Polytechnic Institute Sarai Norang, representative of Private Sector Technical and Vocational Training Institutes and Principal Government College of Technology Tangi will be its members and Managing Director KP-TEVTA will be member-cum-Secretary.
It was notified by Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
