Big Cache Of 'Gutka' Seized; Policeman Arrested

A large cache of contraband 'Gutka - Mawa' and stuff used in making it were seized and two accused including a police constable were arrested in a raid conducted at a house near Kala Maidaan - Orangi area by the Orangi Police here

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Dec, 2017 ) :A large cache of contraband 'Gutka - Mawa' and stuff used in making it were seized and two accused including a police constable were arrested in a raid conducted at a house near Kala Maidaan - Orangi area by the Orangi Police here on Thursday.

According to Superintendent of Police Orangi division Abid Ali Baloch, SDPO Orangi, Ishtiaq Arain led the raid also recovering two bottles of liquor, seven large bags of prohibited Gutka, three bags of betel nuts, two bags of tobacco, one Shehzore truck and 14 empty tubs.

Arrested accused were identified as Constable Muhammad Fahad son of Muhammad Ismail presently posted at Police Station Orangi and his accomplice Akber Hussain son of Mazhar Qaiyoom.
