Shairyar mentioned that Bhalwal, a tehsil of Sargodha district, was an agricultural area and connected with three interchanges of Motorway-II, adding that Salam Interchange was very near to the city. Bhalwal citrus fruits were very famous in the country and abroad, he added. He assured the CEO of completing the civil work in Phase-II by September 30, 2017. He said the management was also negotiating with Technical and Vocational Training Authority to set up a training institute at the site for the skill enhancement of local labourers. A piece of land had already been allocated on site to meet the purpose, he added.
