Anti-fruit Fly Awareness Walk Held

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) : Anti-fruit fly awareness walk was held to promote awareness among the fruit growers about damages of fruit-fly here on Thursday. The walk was jointly organised by district administration, Assistant Director Agriculture marketing Asif Raza and Secretary market committee Nadeem Asghar.

Asif Raza urged the fruit growers to ensure eradication of fruit-fly for getting better fruit production, adding that fruit produce could be raised by 80 percent this way. Secretary market committee said that cleanliness arrangements were being made at the markets to control fruit fly. He informed that rotten and damaged fruits were being removed from vegetable markets.
