ANF Arrests 56 Drug Peddlers; Seizes 60.27 Kg Narcotics In 45 Operations

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21th july, 2016) :- Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), under special countrywide anti drug drive launched on the directives of Director General (DG) ANF against street drug peddlers and narcotics dens carried out 45 operations and arrested 56 drug suppliers.
According to ANF spokesman, the operations were conducted in view of the increasing trend of drug use among the youth in the country. ANF, in this regard, carried out countrywide operations during June 29 to July 15.
Some 60.27 kg narcotics which comprised 11.535 kg Heroin, 43.310 kg Hashish and 5.430 kg Opium worth Rs 109 million in international market were also seized.
