AJK PPP Stalwart Ch Yasin Briefly Detained

KOTLI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) ): The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Thursday briefly detained Pakistan People's Party (PPP) candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, who is in the run from LA-XI Kotli-IV after he was found involved clashing with workers of the Pakistan Tehreek- i-Insaf (PTI) at a polling station near his native town Chowk Sahiban.
According to the LEAs sources, Chaudhry Yasin, who is a top PPP leader and senior minister of the outgoing AJK government, tried to threat PTI workers and attempted to influence the polling process. The LEAs promptly acted and stopped him from creating any situation.
He was briefly detained and later released with the warning to observe the elections' code of conduct, the sources added.
