8-bed ICU to be functional at Liaquat Medical Hospital

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2017 ) : Sindh Minister for Health Dr Sikandar Mandhro Friday said that a 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Liaquat Medical Hospital, Jamshoro, will be made operational after two days.

He said that the ICU at the hospital was not closed but it is being repaired/renovated.

He stated this while replying to a call attention notice tabled by the MQM-Pakistan MPA Rana Ansar regarding the closure of the ICU and severe difficulties to the patients to this effect.

Mandhro said that earlier the ICU was 4-bed and now it has been made 8-bed medical facility. Adding that the same will be operational after two days.
