750 Kites confiscated in police raid

RAWALPINDI, Feb 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2017 ) Police carried out an operation and confiscated 750 kites, string rolls and arrested two kite sellers, here Wednesday. Airport police held Shehyar and recovered 500 kites from his possession while Pirwadhai police arrested Talha and recovered 250 kites and string rolls from his possession.

City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan said strict action would be taken against those flying or selling kites and no one would be allowed to violate the law. He said the ban on kite flying will be implemented strictly. APP/mw/sh/azm
