5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Lahore, Adjoining Areas

Lahore, (Pakistan Point News – 17 July, 2016) : Strong tremors were felt in various parts of Pakistan around 5 O'clock in the evening including Lahore, Faisalabad, Raiwind, Kasur, Okara, Pattoke, Phoolnagar, Chuniyan, Kot Radha Kishan, Sheikhupur, Narowal, Sahiwal, Hafizabad, Pakpattan, Shangla hill, Nankana Sahib and surrounding areas which caused fear among citizens. The magnitude of the earth quack was recorded 5.2 at Richter scale and its center was Afghanistan. No causalities have been reported yet.
