48 Arrested In Crackdown Against Profiteers

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : District administration Wednesday arrested 48 persons in crackdown against profiteers in Phandu, Faqirabad,and Paharipura localities of the city. According to details, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Riaz Khan Mehsud, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mahmood Ahmad conducted raids against profiteers in Phandu area and arrested 20 persons. Similarly, AACs, Abdul Nabi and Syed Shah Zeb conducted joint operation in Faqirabad and Paharipura areas and arrested 28 profiteers.
The arrested persons were included grocers, fruit & vegetable vendours, nanbais and fresh milk sellers and will be dealt as per law of the province.
