358 Wine Bottles, 270 Liter Liquor Seized

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2017 ) : Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has raided at a distillery in sector G-13/2 and recovered huge quantity of liquor from there, a police spokesman said.

According to details, an SIU team checked a vehicle (IDL-1515) in street # 70 in sector G-13/3 and recovered 20 wine bottles from it besides arrested bootlegger Sajid Masih. During the preliminary investigation from the nabbed accused, it was revealed that a distillery is being run in sector G-13/2.

Following this information, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani directed SP (Investigation) Zeeshan Haider to constitute special team for raid at the informed place. He constituted special team under supervision of DSP CIA Muhammad Ashraf Shah to raid at the distillery which raided in House # 3, Sector G-13/2 and recovered 338 wine bottles, 270 liter alcohol, nine cans and other brewing items from there.

Case has been registered into the matter and further efforts are underway to arrest those running this brewing factory.
