332 Departments Registered On Punjab Job Portal

The Punjab Job Portal has registered 332 departments of the Punjab government, enabling 11,175 candidates to apply online for various categories of 143 available job postings on the portal by various provincial departments
LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2017 ) :The Punjab Job Portal has registered 332 departments of the Punjab government, enabling 11,175 candidates to apply online for various categories of 143 available job postings on the portal by various provincial departments.
The portal developed by the Punjab Information Technology board (PITB) was launched in August this year. It was informed in a progress review meeting, held here Tuesday under the chairmanship of Dr Umar Saif, founding vice chancellor of Information Technology University (ITU) Punjab, Chairman PITB and Advisor to the Punjab chief minister.
On this occasion, Dr Umar Saif said that the job portal was helping departments hiring suitable people and providing opportunities to people to apply for the desired vacant positions without visiting departments and involving any middle man.
The portalhttp://jobs.punjab.gov.pk is especially developed to act as a single window for applying to all Punjab provincial government jobs facilitates the candidates to assess their eligibility for the offered vacancies. Traffic to PITB's Job Portal website illustrates continued demand from job seekers across a range of departments and positions.
