133 Criminals Arrested During Last Month

LAHORE, Nov (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Nov, 2016 ) : The Lahore police operations wing arrested 133 members of 53 criminal gangs and recovered booty worth ten million rupees from them during the last month (October).
Police sources said the police found criminal record of 113 accused, while 105 proclaimed offenders and 679 court absconders had also been arrested in the same period.
As many as 290 cases registered against 290 accused for having illicit weapons and police recovered two Kalashnikovs, eight rifles, 18 guns, 230 revolvers and pistols, and other weapons from their possession.
In an offensive against drug-dealers, 528 cases were registered and 533 culprits were arrested and 8.244 kilograms of heroin, 234.240-kilogram charas, 1.215-kilogram opium and 3,175 bottles of liquor were recovered from them.
