1310 Families Repatriated After Clearance Of Areas By Army In South Waziristan Agency

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : The repatriation process of the affectees of operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Wazirsitan Agency was progressing smoothly as 1310 affected families have returned to different villages of tehsil Sararogha during last three days under Pak Army's security arrangements. Imran were personally supervising the return process of the affectees at Kharkai Camp in order to facilitate the returning families. On the first day of the repatriation process started on July 20, a total of 444 families were sent back to their native areas, 333 families on July 21 and 533 affected families on July 22.
In a brief chat with local mediamen, the Political Agent said the affected families were being returned back to their areas cleared by security forces.
The administration has made sound arrangements for provision of basic amenities of life including clean drinking water and health facilities to them. He informed that Rs. 10,000 were being paid to each returning family for transportation through SIM and Rs.
25,000 for meeting other domestic expenditure. The Agency's administrator said TDPs whose houses were completely destroyed during the operation would be provided Rs 400,000 while owners of partially damaged houses will receive Rs. 160,000.
