1087 ADP Schemes Could Not Be Started, PA Told

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2017 ) :The Sindh Assembly Tuesday was informed that a total of 1087 ADP schemes from 2011 to 2013 could not be commenced. Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani said that in 2011-12 the work on 197 schemes and in 2012-13 the work on 890 ADP schemes could not be started.
The provincial assembly's session commenced with recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Sharif with Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza in the chair. The minister, during the questions and answers hour on planning and development, said that the work on 2463 schemes is still in progress.
Replying to a question, he said that no any non-technical officer is working against the technical cadre posts in the department. Replying to another question said that there are no plans to establish a planning commission of Sindh. Answering a question, he said that some appointments were made during 2016 to 2017.
