103rd Meeting Of UET Peshawar's Syndicate Held

PESHAWAR Apri 18 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2017 ) : The 103rd meeting of Syndicate of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar held here on Tuesday under the chair of Vice Chancellor, Engr.
Prof Dr. Noor Muhammad. The Syndicate approved the reopening of Jalozai Campus which was closed since May 11, 2016 while academic classes were continued at Peshawar Main Campus. The Syndicate members also lifted the ban on recruitments for faculty positions of Kohat Campus and other campuses so that the process of PEC accreditation could be started on time.
The meeting also approved the implementation report of 102 meeting of the Syndicate held on December 13, 2016.
The Syndicate reviewed various academic, administrative and financial matters and fully endorsed the step taken by the university administration under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor.
The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary Higher education Department, Dr. Khalid Khan, Justice (Retd) Hamid Farooq Durrani, Musharraf Khan from Establishment Department. Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Registrar UET Peshawar, Dr. Khizar Azam Treasurer UET Peshawar, Nek Muhammad, Prof Dr. Naeem Khan, Prof Dr. Bashir Alam, Dr. Muhammad Younas, Tariq Amin and others.
