Islamabad Police have arrested a person allegedly involved in killing his wife and 15 other outlaws besides recovering 670 gram hashish, 380 gram heroin and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2018 ) :Islamabad Police have arrested a person allegedly involved in killing his wife and 15 other outlaws besides recovering 670 gram hashish, 380 gram heroin and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Muhammad Ramzan s/o Ghulam Rasool resident of `Dhok Maliar Purani Abadi' in Noon police station area gave tranquilizing pills to his wife and later hanged her to death. The police registered the case and succeeded to arrest the killer.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Mian Khan from Aabpara police station arrested Waqar for having 150 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Talib Hussain nabbed Suneel Yousaf for having 150 gram hashish. Inspector Saif Ullah from Bhara Kau police station arrested an accused Arshad and recovered a 12 bore repeater gun from him while Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Nawaz and Alamgir from Golra police held Bushra and Nazeeran for having a total of 380 gram hashish.
Sub-Inspector Khizer Hyat from Shalimar police station arrested Shahroom for possessing 240 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Zahid Akhter and Khizer Hyat arrested Usman Khan and Altaf for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Inspector Gulzar Ahmed from Ramana police station nabbed Umair Hussain and recovered 130 gram hashish from him while ASI Shahid Muneer from Khana police arrested Babar Ali for having 30 bore pistol and also Rehmat allegedly involved in a theft case.
ASI Nadeem Tahir from Koral police station arrested Munawar for selling petroleum products illegally while ASI Azkar Hussain nabbed Fakhar ALam for having 30 bore pistol. ASI Shabir Ahmed from Loi Bher police station nabbed Munawar for selling petroleum products without permission.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Moreover, a total of 42 professional alm-seekers were also held and legal action has been taken against them.
SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed cash prizes and commendation certificates for those showing good performance. He has directed for effective checking at entry and exit points of the city and also around worship places.
It is the prime responsibility of police to ensure protection to the lives and property of the citizens and this task would be achieved through hard work and commitment, the SSP maintained.
